Let me tell you a story

Five tiny stories

↳

Past My Bedtime

Dim moonlight turned the world gray.

Tiny steps came up the stairs and along the hallway.

The hinges of my bedroom door cried their displeasure.

Tiny fingernails scratching.

Tiny eyes, red and bright as neon lights.

“Supper time!” ten tiny voices shouted.

“Ouch!” I screamed as ten set of fangs dug into my flesh.

.

.

Goddess

One, then two, then three.

The atoms quickly gathered taking their places in organize formations.

Soon, molecules abounded. They jumped and ran from one edge to the other, creating ellipses that were soon orbits.

Light and dark, two separated items.

She blinked and the universe existed.

.

.

Escape

You knew this day was coming.

You knew since the sky turned pink early in the morning.

You knew but did nothing.

Why to prepare for a interplanetary journey?

If there was nothing good in this planet, it won’t be nothing good in the next.

.

.

Endings

The colors of reality seem to disappear around you.

Surprised, you lift your eyes to see that a white light has bleach the sky of any blue, only the glare of the sun has been spared.

Your mind screams “What does it mean?”

But you don’t dare ask.

.

.

Goodbyes

He turned away and left.

Tears gathered along the rim of her eyes, eroding away her mascara.

One after the other, they rolled down her cheeks, decorating her face with long black lines.

Marks of a broken heart.
